About this site

This site is the extension of The Himalayan Beacon  a site dedicated towards broadcasting news, views and insights from Darjeeling Hills. As The Himalayan Beacon grew certain sections deserved their own independent home. The Video sections, hence which was previously in the Vodpod realm now has been shifted in this new site, where visitors to the site can now view videos of almost all genres from Darjeeling Hills.

  4. Just got to know about your website today and am enjoyoing going through it. Although I visit darj once a year, your face seem very familiar. ..was it during my guitar lessons at Jiwan sir bck in 91.. or somewhere. Anyways, a great endeavour, so all the best.
